The last stop on our Midwestern tour, and the last stop of our busy travel saga that started April 18, was Grace Lutheran in Oak Creek, WI. We were blessed to visit with them five years ago as we were just starting our preparations for deployment overseas, and they’ve remained gracious partners and friends all those years.
We attended their Thursday evening worship at 6:30pm, and spent some time in discussion with interested folks afterwards. It was a very enjoyable and relaxed way to conclude our travels.
Tomorrow we fly back to Phoenix for the final almost-two-weeks of our time in the US. We’re grateful for safe travels over the last weeks, whether by car or plane. The weather was impressive most of the time – far cooler than it could have been for most of the time, and very little rain. But it will still be good to be back at our home base!
