I arrived safely back in the US today. Gena preceded me by a couple of weeks and has been enjoying time with our kids. I’m grateful the 24 hours of flying and layover time went smoothly. I’m looking forward to recovering and preparing to start our Home Service travels!
It’s amazing how readily the brain can switch gears (or vehicles), so that being back in the US is not a bizarre thing. Lots of differences to be sure, but we haven’t lived abroad long enough to feel as though the US isn’t home. Hopefully that’s not something we have to deal with! Please pray for us as we prepare for our travels, that we would stay healthy and be good ambassadors for the work the Church is doing throughout the world.
