This morning we were blessed to worship with the saints at Grace Lutheran Church in Henderson, Nevada. Henderson is a suburb of Las Vegas, just to the south and east and has experienced sustained and dramatic growth over the last 20 years or more. Rev. DiLiberto was gracious enough to allow me the privilege of preaching at both the 8 am and 10:45 am services, and in between we were able to share about LCMS global work and our anticipated work in Southeast Asia.
We had a ton of folks give us their e-mail addresses to keep up to date on our work, and we now have over 300 subscribers from around the country and the many congregations we’ve been privileged to visit with in person or meet virtually. We were grateful for this opportunity to celebrate with more of God’s faithful and count them as partners in the work the Holy Spirit continues to do around the world!
