And We’re Off!

Happy New Year. Merry Christmas. All of that seems so long ago already. We pray your Christmas and end-of-year/new year celebrations and observations were blessed in the light of the angelic announcement – unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior, who is Christ, the Lord! Christ is indeed Lord of last year and this year and all other years. And so we turn our hands to our vocations as we have been granted them, praying they are a blessing to our neighbor and performed not out of simple obligation or necessity but ultimately out of love for Christ, who so magnificently fulfilled his own vocation.

I apologize for the long silence here. It was an exhausting year and the final weeks of it seemed to weigh heavy in terms of what to say. So I said nothing. But now things are moving again and I pray you’ll join us on this journey we’re all on together, regardless of what part of the world we call home!

This weekend I visited Singapore and Malaysia again. In Singapore I was able to worship with brothers and sisters in Christ and pray for those in need as we were fed with the Lord’s body and blood. In Malaysia I met once again with a small group of lay people seeking how to make an impact in their hometown. A good start to what I pray is a good year for all of us!
