Today we begin the second and final major leg of our home service travel. This time we’ll be just in the state of California, between Los Angeles and the Central Coast of Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Goleta, and other places and names that used to mean home to us but now are part of scrapbooks and photos and memories. Now is the time of life where we don’t have a home per se, but we can give thanks for the nearly 11 years we had one in California. Strange to think our kids are California kids!
Gena and the boys and I fly to Los Angeles where we’ll rent a vehicle and make some visits in the Los Angeles area. Then we’ll drive northwards to Santa Barbara where Mika will fly into and join us for a week in that area. Thank you for your prayers for health and safety – God is good and so are we!
