A few final pictures of my students in Baguio these past couple of weeks.

These are brand new first-year students to the seminary. Nelson (taking the photo) is coming into the ministry after a career in business. Romel, Mateo and Romar spent some time as farmers before the Holy Spirit’s Call on their lives became clear. Now they live and study in Baguio. Together we did a review of the entire Old Testament in two weeks!

And these are the grizzled veteran second-year students. Naumin (far left) hails from Mongolia and is being assisted in his studies by the Lutheran Church of Singapore. Saudira and Jim-Jim are both from the Philippines and spent time in farming before coming to seminary. Christian stewardship was the course we covered together in two weeks.
Similar to the US, after this second year of study these men will spend a year deployed on vicarage to put their book-learning to work in a practical setting. Then they will return for their final year of Seminary. Please keep them in your prayers!
