I never cease to be amazed at the miracle of air transportation, even as I lose the slight jitteriness I’ve always had pre-flight. I’m now able to fall asleep relatively easily, sometimes without even meaning or wanting to. Waking up to find 30 minutes have tiptoed past and pleased at the prospect of the journey ending sooner than my conscious mind expected.
Flying over the ocean is something I haven’t done as much of, but in the last year I’ve done a lot of it already. I’m blessed to see amazing sites through the sky pockmarked with clouds like errant popcorn tossed lazily mid-air from some cosmic bowl to some divine mouth. The clouds themselves are so fascinating I forget that sometimes there are things to be seen below them, such as what (if my Googling is correct) might be Pearson Reef, below.

Or this below, which I’m fairly positive is the western-most end of a collection of reefs and small islands known as the Union Banks.

God’s creation is amazingly beautiful!
